The Labor Day Sales Actually Worth your time & Money
As you know (because I talk about it ad nauseum), I avoid sales as a general rule. Sales can seduce you into buying things you don’t actually love just because they’re a good deal, and combing through sale sections regularly can be a major time suck. Say it with me: your time is valuable.
My two exceptions to the No Sales rule are sales offering 1) something I already have on my shopping wishlist (the ideal scenario) or 2) consumables (like skincare or household goods) that I use & love.
With that in mind, these are the Labor Day Sales I think are worth hitting up:
Half Past Seven, where shipping is free all weekend long. I’ve had my eye on the Petite Lettuce Leaf Vase (such a useful size) and more Starry Night Rocks Glasses for my collection.
Cadets is having a major (and very rare) sale, which I already hit up HARD for my sons’ absolute favorite shorts. If your guys want to wear sporty shorts but you simply cannot with basketball shorts, Cadets is the droid you’re looking for. The quality is excellent & they wash extremely well. Sale ends 8/29 so chop-chop!
Do Future You a solid by stocking up on bedding and bath NOW before the onslaught of holiday house guests. Take a peek at Look Lifestyle (50% off!) as well as Bloomingdale’s (deep discounts on schmancy brands like Matouk & Frette). You can shop my Bloomingdale’s bedding & bath sale picks here!
Speaking of Bloomingdale’s, they are running some deep discounts on Juliska pieces, including many of their wonderful basic patterns like Berry & Thread, Le Panier, and Bamboo. It’s a lot to sift through, so I did the work for you by curating le very best pieces here.
While many apparel retailers are only discounting summer stock, Dress Boston (one of my very favorite boutiques) is offering 15% off new arrivals. Their edit is INSANE, including Nili Lotan, Isabel Marant & APC. This is a healthy discount on pieces that, candidly will sell out long before they ever hit the sale rack. RUN.
J.Crew has basically everything 40% off, which is completely bonkers. (Here’s a little edit of my picks.)
