How I Start My Week
I find coming back from long weekends a little unsettling, so I’m hitting the ground RUNNING this post-holiday Tuesday. Here’s everything I’m researching/reading/plotting, in no particular order:
Writing out my weekly calendar (two days later than I usually do, which is legit giving me anxiety)
Reconnecting with my hot new coffee date, Aiden. (Full review coming soon!)
Hitting the reset button on my nutrition courtesy of Sakara. It’s like they knew I wolfed a basket of chicken strips at the airport.
Did you know I keep a running list of things I have my eye on? Right now I’m into this cashmere sweatshirt, some truly perfect-looking jeans & this skirt that stopped me in my tracks. (You can find the full list here!)
A bookstore run for my sweet teenager who’s been taken DOWN with the flu. (She’s loving this series right now.)
Finally taking down my holiday mailbox flair. (Sry, neighbors.)
Cleaning out le inbox. (I’m a zero inbox girl, which I know we’re not supposed to do but I just can’t relax with all those unread notifications.)
Starting a new book after back-to-back Irish heartbreak courtesy of Claire Keegan and Niall Williams.
Researching cute socks, because it’s too cold outside to bare ankle it, even for me!
Planning cozy meals for the week. I’m thinking White Chili, Tortilla Soup, and something from my tried-and-true weeknight dinner repertoire. A menu plan that expects you to reinvent the wheel every night is not sustainable!
