{In Residence}

14 May

Well, it finally happened: after months of peeling off the band aid bit by excruciating bit, we are home. The remodel is ongoing, there are boxes *everywhere*, and we can’t seem to get the gardener to call us back, but it feels so lovely to be here together. The welcome from our neighbors has been beyond gracious (that bread!) and the weather has really been showing off for us. (Maybe a little too much since our insulation had to be ripped out to install new electrical systems, i.e., we’re MELTING.)

Thank you all for your generosity throughout this process. Moving is hard; moving with kids is harder; and moving with kids into a partial construction zone is basically impossible. I’m looking forward to getting back to the business of Priss & Vinegar as I decorate my new home, explore new neighborhoods, and figure out how the heck to manage two (yes, TWO) fully-mobile children. It’s about to get *real* up in here!

      Thank you so much! We hope to visit with you when we’re out east next month. Brooks and sweet baby Jules can have a play date!
